Whereas Dr. Susan Klein has served as the program coordinator for the GEC program in an exemplary fashion since 1992; and

Whereas Dr. Klein has overseen the myriad activities of the nation's 43 GECs and has been the principal liaison between HRSA and the GECs nationally; and

Whereas Dr. Klein has time and time again demonstrated her passion for the importance of geriatric education to improve the health of the nation's 34,000,000 seniors;

Therefore, the National Association of Geriatric Education Centers gratefully acknowledges the vital role Dr. Klein has played in maintaining a strong national network of GECs for all older Americans and wishes her Godspeed in her new endeavors.
