The National Association of Geriatric Education Centers (NAGEC) is an association promoting better health care for older people through a public more informed on aging-related issues. NAGEC is comprised of the national network of 45 GECs funded by HRSA's Bureau of Health Professions; Division of Associated, Dental, and Public Health Professions; Interdisciplinary, Geriatrics, and Allied Health Branch. GECs offer health professions educators and community practitioners professional development opportunities in aging that benefit older people now and those "future" older Americans.
