Our health care professionals are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of older people. Clinical faculty and trainees provide inpatient and outpatient care to older persons through:

• Geriatric Medicine Associates – Seeing patients in the Baylor Clinic, the multidisciplinary team of health care professionals uses a comprehensive assessment method and offers a variety of clinical services to assess aging-related health problems and study ways to prevent or modify aging changes that affect intellectual and physical vigor.

• Extended Care Line at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Administration Medical Center. Offering evaluation and treatment in a minimally restrictive environment, through the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit, Home Based Primary Care and, the Transitional Care Unit.
