American Geriatric Society Meeting

The Huffington Center on Aging was well represented at the annual American Geriatrics Society (AGS) meeting, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 17 through May 21. The AGS annual meeting is the premier meeting forum for comprehensive and up-todate information on clinical geriatrics, long-term care, research on aging, innovative methods, geriatrics in managed care, and health care policy and ethics. All health care professions involved with issues concerning older adults attend the meeting to help prepare for the challenges of caring for the increasing number of adults who are 65 and older.

Founded in 1942, the AGS is a nationwide, not-for-profit organization of health care professionals dedicated to improving the health, independence, and quality of life of all older people.
