
Mehrnaz Saeid Gill, M.S.
Mehrnaz Saeid Gill serves as the Assistant
Director of Development and Community Programs for the Huffington Center on Aging . She
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Lamar University and the Master
of Science degree in Gerontology from Baylor University. Mehrnaz is responsible
for the development activities of the center, including the Development Board and
such special events as the Women's Health Summit and HCOA Public Forums. Her other
responsibilities include development and implementation of educational programs in the
areas of geriatrics and gerontology for medical professionals, students, and the
community-at-large. She also serves as the editor for the HCOA News. Her
professional affiliations include the American Society on Aging, the Houston
Gerontological Society, and the National Society of Fundraising Executives.
Mehrnaz serves on the Board of Directors for the UH Moores School of
Music and the Virtuosi of Houston. She is also an active member of the Junior League of
Houston. Her other community affiliations include the the Alzheimer's Association. During
the past seven years she has worked on the Alzheimer's Association's Education and
Training Committee, Helpline Committee, Public Policy Committee, and Multi-Cultural Task
Force.
