NEW!! JUST ANNOUNCED:

Shadow a Geriatrician for a Day Program

The Shadow a Geriatrician program provides students potentially interested in geriatric medicine with the opportunity to follow around a geriatrician for a day.  The students choose their mentor from a list of physicians who have volunteered their time to this program.  The students decide on
the basis of the setting they would like to experience, from nursing home to outpatient care, as well as the physician's schedule.  Interested?  Contact Netanya Sandler at ns692407@bcm.tmc.edu.

TGIF is a student chapter of the American Geriatrics Society and is also funded by the Center of Excellence (through the John A. Hartford, Inc. Foundation).

These Web pages are geared towards medical students who are interested in Geriatrics.  The various areas of the site are listed to the left.  Click and begin exploring!

Much thanks for getting this section on the HCOA Web site goes to the web-page committee, TGIF officers, Carmel McKeon, and Dr. Bob Roush.
